As they did in the beginning, following the New Advent Loudspeaker, Advent introduced a series of smaller speakers, starting with the Advent/1. It used the same drivers as the New Advent Loudspeaker but tuned to a smaller box. This meant the frequency response lost the last 1/2 octave of the lower bass range. It was sold in 2 finishes, the utility vinyl and a walnut veneer with a front grill standing 1/2″ away from the enclosure.
